Singapore leaders visited Johor on 21 March 2026 to attend the Regent’s Hari Raya Open House and strengthen cross-border ties.
On 21 March 2026, Singapore’s Minister for Social and Family Development Masagos Zulkifli and Minister for Education Desmond Lee, along with their spouses, visited Johor to attend the Hari Raya Open House hosted by His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail.
The event took place at Istana Bukit Serene, where the ministers were welcomed and hosted to lunch by the Regent and Her Highness Che’ Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Johor.
During the visit, the Singapore ministers conveyed their Hari Raya greetings to the Johor royal family. They also discussed the strong and long-standing relationship between Singapore and Johor, focusing on ways to improve cooperation in different areas.
This visit continues a yearly tradition where Singapore leaders attend the Johor royal family’s Hari Raya Open House, highlighting the close ties between the two sides.
