PerCa Singapore strengthens support network for Indonesians in mixed marriages through advocacy and consultation
PerCa Singapore continued to strengthen its role as a platform for Indonesian citizens involved in mixed marriages in Singapore. The organisation facilitates connections, provides accurate information, and supports members in navigating legal and administrative matters.

Established as a representation of PerCa Indonesia, the initiative in Singapore began in 2016 under the name “Sahabat PerCa” before formally becoming PerCa Singapore in 2024. The transition reflected efforts to expand outreach and enhance support for Indonesians in mixed marriages. As of 2026, the organisation comprised 71 members and continues to grow.

PerCa Singapore operates through three core pillars: socialisation, consultation, and advocacy. Its activities include disseminating information on legal and administrative aspects, providing consultation platforms for members, and offering guidance in addressing administrative challenges. The organisation also engages in coordination with the Embassy of Indonesia in Singapore and participates in broader national forums, including engagements with the Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia.
Through these initiatives, PerCa Singapore contributes to improving awareness of rights and obligations among its members, while supporting them in managing cross-border legal and social considerations associated with mixed marriages.
The organisation also undertakes community-based activities and collaborations with other groups, reinforcing its role as a support network for Indonesians in Singapore.
