Upcoming seminar will guide businesses on expanding operations within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone.

The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) has announced an upcoming seminar focused on helping businesses scale their operations within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).

The seminar follows SMF’s ongoing efforts since June 2025 to promote opportunities in Johor. Over 100 companies have been introduced to the JS-SEZ, with nearly half participating in site visits to explore expansion possibilities.

During the Manufacturing Day Summit 2026, SMF also launched the JS-SEZ Playbook, a guide designed to help manufacturers identify suitable partners and understand regulatory requirements when setting up operations in Johor.

The upcoming session will feature insights from experts at FOZL, Singapore Polytechnic, and DXC Technology. They will cover key topics such as navigating the setup process in Johor, workforce upskilling, and adopting smart manufacturing solutions.

The seminar is aimed at companies looking to expand across borders and strengthen their manufacturing capabilities. It will provide practical guidance and real-world insights to support business growth in the region.

The event is scheduled for 2026, with registration currently open to interested participants. Businesses are encouraged to sign up early to gain valuable knowledge on leveraging the opportunities within the JS-SEZ.
