Australia and Singapore reaffirmed the strength of their longstanding partnership during a meeting between Australian High Commissioner to Singapore H.E. Robyn Mudie and Mr. Masagos Zulkifli, Singapore’s Minister for Social and Family Development. The meeting reflected the close and trusted relationship between the two countries, built on decades of cooperation across a wide range of sectors.

The discussions focused on matters within the Minister’s portfolio, including social and family development priorities. Both sides exchanged views on shared interests and explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation in areas that support resilient communities, inclusive social policies and effective public service delivery.

A key topic of the meeting was Singapore’s adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in government services. High Commissioner Mudie and Minister Masagos discussed how AI is being integrated into public administration to improve service delivery, enhance efficiency and better meet the needs of citizens.

The meeting underscored the enduring Australia–Singapore partnership, which continues to be strengthened through regular high-level engagement and collaboration on emerging policy issues. As both countries navigate new technological and social challenges, continued dialogue remains central to advancing mutual interests and fostering innovation.
