Australian teams earned World Cup qualification after competing against Bahrain and Singapore.
Australia’s men’s and women’s under-23 teams competed at the FIBA 3×3 U23 Youth Nations Championships 2026 in Singapore last week, facing players from Bahrain and Singapore.
Both Australian teams placed among the top three during the tournament. Their overall performance also earned Australia a place at next year’s FIBA World Cup in China.
The Australian High Commission in Singapore congratulated Team Australia on its performance and thanked Singapore for hosting the competition.
