
The discussions focused on strengthening anti scam capabilities, cybercrime prevention, and cooperation between the prosecutorial authorities of both countries.
Attorney-General of the Republic of Singapore Mr Lucien Wong led a delegation on a working visit to Mongolia at the invitation of the Prosecutor General of Mongolia. The visit focused on strengthening cooperation to combat cyber fraud and other forms of transnational cybercrime.

During the discussions, both sides exchanged views on Mongolia’s digital landscape, the legal framework governing the sector, and measures to strengthen the country’s anti scam system. The delegation also shared the Singapore Anti-Scam Centre’s best practices and explored how they could be adapted in Mongolia.
As part of the visit, the prosecutorial authorities of Mongolia and Singapore agreed to jointly organise a training programme on transnational cybercrime to strengthen professional capabilities. Both sides also reaffirmed the importance of international partnerships, information exchange, and closer institutional cooperation to enhance online safety and prevent cybercrime.
