SEVEN Abha Entertainment Destination Opens to Support Tourism and Economic Development in Aseer Region

SEVEN Abha, the first entertainment destination by Saudi Entertainment Ventures, has opened in Aseer Region, supporting tourism, investment, and regional economic development.

SEVEN Abha, the first entertainment destination developed by Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN), was officially inaugurated in Aseer Region on 6 August 2026. The project forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to strengthen tourism, entertainment, and economic development while enhancing visitor experiences in the region.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Aseer Governor and Chairman of the Aseer Development Authority, Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, who highlighted the continued support provided by the Kingdom’s leadership for the region’s development. The project is owned and developed by Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN), a wholly owned subsidiary of Qiddiya Investment Company.

During his address, Prince Turki said the sustained support and attention from Saudi Arabia’s leadership had created significant opportunities for Aseer Region to achieve sustainable economic prosperity. He noted that SEVEN Abha is one of several development projects planned for the region and emphasised its strategic location within the airport cluster, where it is designed to complement the upcoming Abha International Airport project. The development aims to provide visitors with an integrated experience that reflects Aseer’s culture, identity, and tourism potential.

SEVEN Chairman Abdullah Al Dawood described SEVEN Abha as another milestone in the region’s development journey. He said the destination would strengthen Aseer’s position as an emerging tourism and investment hub while contributing to the Kingdom’s efforts to expand its entertainment sector.

SEVEN Abha opened to visitors on the day of its inauguration with a five-day programme inspired by the culture, heritage, and identity of Aseer Region. The opening activities are intended to showcase the region’s traditions while welcoming residents and visitors to the new entertainment destination.
