
Diplomatic missions reaffirm friendship, cooperation and strategic partnership between Indonesia and Malaysia.
H.E. Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore, received a courtesy visit from H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin, Malaysia’s newly appointed High Commissioner to Singapore, on Monday, 27 July 2026, at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore.
Held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, the meeting reflected the longstanding friendship between Indonesia and Malaysia. Against this backdrop, both sides exchanged views on developments in bilateral relations, opportunities for Indonesia–Malaysia cooperation and regional issues of shared interest.
During the meeting, Ambassador Pandjaitan congratulated High Commissioner Anizan on her appointment to Singapore. He also expressed his hope that the positive communication and cooperation already established between the Indonesian and Malaysian diplomatic missions would continue to grow.
The close relationship between the two missions is important in supporting broader engagement between Indonesia and Malaysia. Through continued communication and coordination, their representatives in Singapore can help maintain the strong ties and constructive dialogue that underpin the two countries’ friendship and strategic partnership.
The courtesy visit therefore provided an opportunity for both sides to reaffirm their commitment to maintaining positive relations and strengthening cooperation. It also underscored the value of continued dialogue on bilateral and regional matters of common interest.
Looking ahead, both sides expressed hope that the strong communication and cooperation between their respective missions in Singapore would continue to deepen. Such continued engagement would further support the enduring friendship and strategic partnership between Indonesia and Malaysia.
