Malaysia’s High Commissioner to Singapore, H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin, hosted the Malaysian Under-19 men’s floorball team following their participation in the 2027 World Floorball Championship – Asia-Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC) Qualification in Singapore.
The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore, H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin, and her spouse hosted members of the Malaysian Under-19 men’s floorball team who represented Malaysia at the Men’s Under-19 World Floorball Championship 2027 – Asia-Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC) Qualification games. The tournament was held in Tampines, Singapore, from 5 to 9 August 2026.
The qualification tournament brought together teams competing for a place at the Men’s Under-19 World Floorball Championship, scheduled to take place in Riga, Latvia, in February 2027. The Malaysian team competed with the aim of securing a place at the prestigious international championship.
During the gathering, H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan welcomed the team to Singapore and expressed her support for the young athletes as they represented Malaysia on the international stage. She encouraged the players to give their best, remain focused and demonstrate determination throughout the competition.
The High Commissioner also commended the players for their commitment, dedication and efforts in pursuing excellence in floorball. She highlighted the importance of perseverance and encouraged the young athletes to continue developing their skills and passion for the sport.
She conveyed her best wishes to the Malaysian team for success in the qualification games and in their future floorball competitions, as they continue to represent Malaysia with pride on the regional and international stage.
