
Malaysia’s High Commissioner to Singapore, H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin, visited Gardens by the Bay on 13 August 2026, highlighting shared interests in sustainability, innovation and tourism. The visit also opened discussions on opportunities for closer collaboration between the High Commission and one of Singapore’s most iconic attractions.
On 13 August 2026, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore, H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin, paid an introductory visit to Gardens by the Bay at the kind invitation of its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Felix Loh. The visit provided an opportunity for Her Excellency to experience first-hand one of Singapore’s most recognisable landmarks and its distinctive integration of nature, technology and sustainable development.

During the visit, Mr. Felix Loh shared insights into the vision behind Gardens by the Bay and its evolution into a world-class tourist attraction. The Gardens is home to a diverse collection of more than 1.5 million plants from around the world, offering visitors an immersive experience that celebrates biodiversity while demonstrating innovative approaches to urban greening.
The discussion also highlighted the range of events, exhibitions and programmes organised at Gardens by the Bay throughout the year. Through its combination of horticulture, education, entertainment and sustainability initiatives, the attraction continues to provide a platform for visitors to discover the importance of nature conservation and environmentally responsible development.
