French Ambassador hosted ST Engineering leaders to discuss defence, aerospace and AI.
H.E. Ambassador Stephen Marchisio, Ambassador of France to Singapore, welcomed Mr. Vincent Chong, Group President & CEO of ST Engineering, and Mr. Jeffrey Lam to the Residence of France in Singapore for discussions on defence, aerospace and technology cooperation.
The meeting focused on the defence and aerospace sectors, where ST Engineering is a leading player in Singapore, as well as opportunities for further cooperation with French companies. The Embassy noted ST Engineering’s long-standing partnerships with several French companies and highlighted its growing ties with Mistral AI.
ST Engineering and Mistral AI signed a strategic partnership this year to develop sovereign agentic AI capabilities. Mistral AI’s technology is also integrated into AGIL Trust, ST Engineering’s solution designed to detect deepfakes and disinformation, particularly for public security stakeholders.
