NIPRO’s new Singapore headquarters will coordinate operations across more than 20 Asia Pacific markets.
NIPRO CORPORATION, a global healthcare and medical technology company, announced the establishment of its Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters (RHQ) in Singapore through the incorporation of NIPRO Asia Pacific Group (NAPG). Supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), the RHQ will serve as a strategic hub for NIPRO’s operations in more than 20 markets across the Asia Pacific region.
The new RHQ brings NIPRO’s regional functions under a single structure guided by its “Make it Happen by One NIPRO” principle. The organisation is intended to enable faster decision-making, stronger governance and more consistent execution as healthcare systems in Asia Pacific respond to rising demand and increasingly complex care requirements.
Under the “One NIPRO” model, NIPRO’s Manufacturing, Sales, iMEP and Hemodialysis (HD) Centers will operate under a single regional alliance. The structure is aligned with the direction of NIPRO’s new President and CxO leadership and places greater accountability and coordination closer to the markets served by the company.
The RHQ will also centralise resource management for NIPRO group companies in the region and plans to establish high-value regional functions, including legal and compliance, regulatory affairs, human resources, marketing, information technology, finance and corporate strategy.
NIPRO has maintained a presence in Singapore since 1997, with the city-state serving as a gateway connecting the company with customers, healthcare providers and partners in the region. The establishment of the RHQ comes ahead of NIPRO Asia’s 30th anniversary in 2027 and represents the company’s continued commitment to its Asia Pacific operations.
Mr. Tsuyoshi Yamazaki, President and CEO of NIPRO CORPORATION, said Singapore’s strategic location, infrastructure, talent ecosystem and healthcare innovation environment made it an appropriate base for NIPRO’s regional expansion.
Marcus Dass, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Enterprises at EDB, welcomed NIPRO’s decision to establish its APAC regional headquarters in Singapore. He said the move reflected Singapore’s position as a hub for medical technology companies and would create opportunities for local talent while supporting healthcare solutions in the region.
