H.E. Ms Uyanga Ganbold engaged with the Singapore-based knowledge platform to explore future collaborations in digital transformation and public sector innovation.
H.E. Ms Uyanga Ganbold, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Singapore, recently received representatives from the Singapore-based media and knowledge-sharing platform GovInsider at the Embassy. The meeting was convened to explore opportunities to raise international awareness of Mongolia’s rapid achievements in digital governance and public service reform.
GovInsider is widely recognised for sharing international experiences in public sector innovation and digital transformation. By connecting government agencies with private sector representatives, the platform supports mutual learning across borders. During the engagement, representatives shared that over its 11 years of operation, GovInsider has expanded to produce approximately 650 articles annually, reaching around five million readers worldwide.
Ambassador Uyanga outlined several priority areas of Mongolia–Singapore cooperation, including ongoing initiatives in trade, carbon markets, green technology, and renewable energy. A central focus of the discussion was the opportunity to introduce Mongolia’s successful digital governance platform, e-Mongolia, and its broader public-private cooperation models to GovInsider’s expansive international readership.
The GovInsider representatives expressed strong interest in producing featured articles and interviews detailing Mongolia’s public sector reforms. They also discussed exciting future opportunities, such as inviting representatives of Mongolian government agencies to participate in the Festival of Government Innovation in Singapore in 2027 and jointly organising capacity-building events in Mongolia.
Additionally, the discussions touched upon cultural preservation through modern means, specifically the role of digital technology in expanding the use of the traditional Mongolian script. Both sides agreed to exchange information regularly to support these initiatives and facilitate ongoing connections between their respective institutions.
