Accubits’ MistEO, a leading Singapore-based company in climate change mitigation solutions and financing tools has announced the signing of a MoU with the Research Institute for Environment and Nature Conservation Technologies, Ministry of Natural Resources, Republic of Uzbekistan
A MoU has been signed between Accubits’ mistEO and the Research Institute for Environment and Nature Conservation Technologies, Ministry of Natural Resources, Republic of Uzbekistan on 13th February 2023. mistEO is a pioneer in climate change mitigation solutions and financing tools and the Institute is the central organization in the Republic of Uzbekistan that coordinates scientific, innovative, and technological efforts to safeguard natural resources with a focus on green development, climatic change, air pollution, the preservation of land and water resources, biodiversity preservation, and waste management.
The MOU represents the agreement between mistEO and The Research Institute to cooperate and work together to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions for the benefit of the people and residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan as well as to enhance and safeguard the nation’s environment, biodiversity, and climate.
Together, they will work on a number of projects in Uzbekistan that center on:
> Climate Change
> Weather analytics
> Environmental protection and monitoring
> Biodiversity.
mistEO will support The Research Institute’s activities by bringing its expertise in weather analytics, actuarial science, satellite remote sensing, and geospatial solutions. In order to fulfill Uzbekistan’s obligations with regard to combating climate change, protecting biodiversity, and achieving sustainable development goals, mistEO will also help the Research Institute structure, plan, and carry out the projects in collaboration with partners from all over the world.
