Ms Rahayu Mahzam, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Singapore’s Ministry of Health and Law, spoke at the International Conference on Justice in Riyadh on 5th March 2023

THE Senior Parliamentary Secretary (SPS) for Singapore’s Ministry of Health and Law, Ms Rahayu Mahzam, delivered a speech at the International Conference on Justice in Riyadh.

In the first main session of the conference, titled “Future of the Justice System in Light of Digital Transformation,” SPS Rahayu shared the stage with speakers who included Saudi Minister of Justice, Dr. Walid Al Smani. She discussed the use of legal technology by law firms in Singapore and how it has been incorporated into the country’s judicial system.

SPS Mahzam also discussed potential future cooperation between Singapore’s Ministry of Law and Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Justice with Dr. Najem bin Abdullah Al Zaid, Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Justice.

SPS Rahayu also had meetings with Deputy Ministers for Joint Services Mr. Abdulrahman Nasser Al Khorayef and International Affairs Dr. Bashar Al Moufada during her visit.

At the At-Turaif UNESCO World Heritage Site in Diriyah, the Jewel of the Kingdom and the birthplace of the first Saudi state, she also took pleasure in the dinner, traditional performance, and craft exhibition.

The Singapore Embassy in Riyadh handled all the arrangements for her trip to Saudi Arabia.
