Foreign Heads of Mission, His Excellency Abdou Salam Diallo of the Republic of Senegal and His Excellency Serob Bejanyan of the Republic of Armenia, presented their credentials to President Halimah Yacob

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singapore welcomed two distinguished Ambassadors who presented their credentials to President Halimah Yacob on 27 June 2023.

H.E. Abdou Salam Diallo, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to Singapore:
His Excellency Abdou Salam Diallo, currently the Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the Republic of Korea, with concurrent accreditation as Ambassador to Singapore, presented his credentials in a formal ceremony. A seasoned diplomat, Ambassador Diallo has served in various key positions, including Ambassador of Senegal to Russia, Ambassador to Spain, and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York. Notably, he was also Diplomatic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Senegal. Ambassador Diallo’s extensive diplomatic career includes appointments such as Head of the Senegalese Delegation to the International Seabed Authority and Member of the Senegalese National Group to the Hague Permanent Court of Arbitration. He is a recipient of the National Order of Merit of Senegal.

H.E. Serob Bejanyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Singapore:
Ambassador Serob Bejanyan, a career diplomat, concurrently accredited to the Republic of Singapore and ASEAN, presented his credentials at a separate ceremony. Prior to his current role, Ambassador Bejanyan served as the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Indonesia. With a career spanning back to 1998, he has held various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Director of Media and Public Diplomacy Department. His international assignments include being the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Mission of Armenia to NATO in Brussels. Ambassador Bejanyan holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Yerevan State University.
