India and Singapore have close and strong trade, investment, and bilateral ties. In 2021-22, bilateral trade between India and Singapore stood at US$ 30.11 billion, with imports from Singapore at US$ 18.96 billion and exports to Singapore at US$ 11.15 billion.

Some of the major items of India’s exports to Singapore include petroleum products, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, machinery, and electronic goods. India’s major imports from Singapore include petroleum products, electronic goods, chemicals, and machinery.

Singaporean companies have invested heavily in India in a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, services, and infrastructure. Some of the major Singaporean companies operating in India include Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, and HCL Technologies.

India and Singapore have a Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) in place, which has helped to boost trade and investment between the two countries. The CECA covers a wide range of areas, including trade in goods and services, investment, and economic cooperation.

In addition to trade and investment, India and Singapore also have close cooperation in other areas such as defense, security, and culture. The two countries hold regular high-level meetings and dialogues, and they participate in a number of multilateral forums together.
