DURING India’s G20 Presidency, tourism was taken up as one of the key sectors. Five priority areas of tourism were identified for deliberations: Greening the tourism sector, promoting digitisation, empowering the youth with skills, nurturing tourism micro, small and medium enterprises and startups, and strategic management of destinations.
