This initiative is part of a partnership agreement signed at the margins of the Official Visit of the Deputy President of South Africa, HE Paul Mashatile, to Singapore in December 2023. The training cohort is led by Ms. Phindile Baleni, the Director-General in the Presidency.
This partnership agreement, which gives practical expression to the Memorandum of Understanding signed by South Africa and Singapore in May 2023, aims to enhance cooperation in various areas, including Policy, Innovation and Sustainability, Data Analytics, Futures Thinking, Smart Cities & Urban Design, Women Leadership, and Strategic Decision-Making.
