Dr. Ng Eng Hen and President Ramos-Horta discuss enhancing bilateral defense cooperation and regional security.
Minister for Defence Dr. Ng Eng Hen met with Timor-Leste President José Ramos-Horta this afternoon at the Shangri-La Hotel. President Ramos-Horta is in Singapore to attend the 21st Shangri-La Dialogue, where he will speak at the plenary session titled “Enhancing Crisis Management and Rising Competition.”
During their meeting, Dr. Ng and President Ramos-Horta reaffirmed the friendly bilateral defense relationship between Singapore and Timor-Leste. They exchanged views on regional security developments and explored ways to enhance bilateral defense cooperation.
