The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Singapore hosted a reception at the Shangri-La Hotel, marking the Kingdom’s 94th National Day and showcasing progress under Vision 2030.

SINGAPORE, 24 September 2024 – The Embassy of Saudi Arabia celebrated the 94th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with an elegant reception at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore. Hosted by Saudi Ambassador H.E. Abdullah Mohammed A. Almadhi, the event gathered a distinguished group of diplomats, government officials, business leaders, and members of the Saudi community in Singapore.

Ambassador Almadhi welcomed the attendees with a speech highlighting Saudi Arabia’s significant social and economic changes, driven by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative. The strategic plan, championed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, aims to diversify the economy, enhance women’s roles in society, and foster innovation across various sectors.

In addition to traditional Saudi cuisine and cultural performances, guests were treated to a presentation showcasing milestones in Saudi Arabia’s transformation, including advancements in technology, tourism, and foreign investment opportunities. The event underscored the growing relationship between Saudi Arabia and Singapore, with both nations looking forward to deeper collaboration in areas like trade, innovation, and investment.
