Singapore’s Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) participated in the fourth edition of Defence Cyber Marvel (DCM4), a major cyber defence exercise organized by the British Army Cyber Association. The event, held in Seoul, South Korea, from 24 to 28 February 2025, involved over 1,000 personnel from 27 nations.
The DIS’s Cyber Defence Group (CDG) collaborated with the British Army remotely from Singapore as part of a combined cyber defence team. The exercise included complex, scenario-based challenges designed to test participants’ ability to detect and respond to cyber threats in a realistic operational setting.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Mok Chuan-Hao, Commander of the CDG, praised the team’s performance, stating, “Our cyber defenders displayed a high level of professionalism and competency throughout the exercise. This was a valuable opportunity to benchmark best practices and learn from our British counterparts.”

Captain Andy Humphrys, Team Lead from the British Armed Forces, echoed this sentiment, adding, “The DIS team demonstrated strong technical expertise and professionalism, working seamlessly with the UK Ministry of Defence team.”
The DIS has participated in DCM since 2024, emphasizing the growing significance of cybersecurity in military operations. The exercise brings together armed forces, government agencies, and industry experts to enhance collective cybersecurity capabilities. Singapore’s collaboration with the British Armed Forces in DCM4 highlights the strong bilateral defence relationship between the two nations.
