
Government and media partners collaborate in Makkah to enhance local and international Hajj reporting.
MAKKAH, 3 June 2025 — The second annual Hajj Media Hub has brought together 15 government and private sector entities to strengthen and unify media efforts during the 1446H Hajj season. The initiative is taking place at the Makkah Chamber Exhibition and Events Center, running through to Dhul-Hijjah 8 (4 June 2025).


Organised by the Unified Hajj Media Operations Center in strategic partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program, participants in the Hub include key ministries such as the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, and Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, as well as the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites and the National Water Company.
Media and communications bodies are also playing a central role. These include the Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Broadcasting Authority, General Authority of Media Regulation, and the Center for Government Communication. Several private media and technology partners have also joined to enhance the reach and quality of Hajj content across platforms.
