For Ramadan this year, a total of 1,500 cartons of dates will be distributed to mosques across Singapore. The dates are intended for sahur and buka puasa, supporting congregations and worshippers during the fasting month. Mosque representatives and community stakeholders viewed the initiative as a practical form of engagement that complements existing local efforts.

On the same occasion, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Shuraim, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Singapore, received Ambassador Al-Ghamdi and extended his congratulations on his appointment as Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Singapore. He also conveyed his best wishes for success in carrying out his diplomatic responsibilities.

Observers noted that the event highlighted both humanitarian outreach and diplomatic interaction, reflecting ongoing cooperation among Middle Eastern diplomatic missions in Singapore. Such engagements contribute to maintaining dialogue with religious institutions and stakeholders while reinforcing broader people-to-people and diplomatic relations within Singapore’s diverse society.
