The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) participated in Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Engineering (SOE) Careers Fair 2026 on 3 November 2026, engaging students with career opportunities in Singapore’s manufacturing sector. The event provided a platform for students to learn about different professional pathways and connect with SMF member companies.

The careers fair highlighted employment opportunities in various manufacturing-related fields, including engineering, automation, semiconductors, quality assurance and business operations. These areas offered students with different interests and skill sets opportunities to explore potential careers within the industry.

As part of its participation, SMF organised a “Visit. Explore. Win!” activity, which encouraged students to interact with participating member companies and learn more about their operations and career opportunities. Through the activity, students also had the opportunity to explore potential career pathways and participate in a prize giveaway.

The initiative aimed to introduce students to the range of roles available within Singapore’s manufacturing sector and encourage greater engagement between the education community and industry representatives.

The event also provided an opportunity for participating SMF member companies to connect directly with students, share information about their respective fields and introduce potential employment pathways to those preparing to enter the workforce.

SMF acknowledged Ngee Ann Polytechnic, its participating member companies and the students who took part in the careers fair. The engagement reflected the role of industry outreach in helping students gain exposure to manufacturing careers and understand the professional opportunities available within Singapore’s industrial landscape.
