The 5th Edition of the EU-ASEAN BLUEBOOK was launched by the EU Ambassadors in ASEAN and the ASEAN Secretary General Dato Lim Jock Hoi in May.
THE publication which is one of the highlights of this year’s Europe Day celebrations (9th May 2020) in the region and contains the major areas of achievement in development cooperation between both blocs in the “past year and beyond”. Apart from political, security and social-cultural cooperation, in economic terms in 2020 the EU and its member states remains the largest provider of Foreign Direct Investment to ASEAN; the EU is ASEAN’s second largest trading partner and ASEAN is the EU’s third largest trading partner outside Europe.
