The Next World Forum in Riyadh gathers global leaders in esports and gaming to shape the industry’s future through investment, collaboration, and innovative discussions.

The Next World Forum, a prestigious gathering of esports and gaming industry leaders and experts from around the globe, is scheduled to take place from September 7 to 8, 2022, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh. This highly anticipated event will serve as a platform for in-depth discussions on the development and growth of the dynamic and collaborative esports ecosystem.

With over 1,200 delegates expected to attend, the Next World Forum will bring together a diverse range of participants, including ministers of sport, investors, gamers, developers, tech providers, start-ups, public sector representatives, brands and advertisers, publishers, broadcasters, and federations and leagues. Organized by the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF), the Next World Forum will also mark the grand finale of Gamers8, the world’s largest esports and gaming event, currently being held at Boulevard Riyadh City. Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan, Chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming forum and emphasized its significance in propelling the industry forward.

Prince Faisal went on to highlight Saudi Arabia’s aspirations of becoming a global leader in esports and gaming. “In pursuing that quest, Saudi Arabia, which has an aim to become not just one of the global leaders in esports and gaming, but the global leader, is a fitting host for the Next World Forum. We look forward immensely to welcoming the esports and gaming world to Riyadh on September 7 and 8, as we convene for productive, purposeful, progressive, and prosperous discussions.”

The event boasts an impressive lineup of speakers, including notable figures such as Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan, Chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation; Chester King, CEO of British Esports & Vice-President of the Global Esports Federation; Mario Pérez Guerreira, CEO, MENA & Partner at GGTech; Sayo Olowabi, Secretary-General of the Africa Esports Development Federation (AEDF); and Grant Johnson, Chairman and CEO of Esports Entertainment Group.
