
The 4th India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable focused on technology, economic cooperation and sustainability, alongside a meeting with Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
India and Singapore explored ways to advance their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership at the 4th India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR) in Singapore. The discussions focused on advanced manufacturing, fintech, digitalisation, healthcare and sustainability, with both sides considering opportunities to deepen cooperation in these strategic sectors.

India was represented by Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, and Minister of State for Commerce and Industry and Electronics and Information Technology Jitin Prasada.
Technology featured prominently in the discussions, including digital public infrastructure, semiconductor supply chains, AI governance and cyber security. Digital skills development was also discussed as an area for further bilateral cooperation.

Ahead of the ISMR, the Indian delegation called on Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at The Istana. The meeting reviewed progress in implementing the roadmap for the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and explored further cooperation in economic engagement, digitalisation, connectivity, skills development and sustainability.
Trade, investment and innovation were also discussed as avenues for strengthening economic cooperation. Prime Minister Wong and the Indian delegation exchanged views on key regional and global developments during the meeting.
